3M Anti-Tarnish Paper Strips (10 pack)
3M Anti-tarnish paper protects silver, nickel, copper, bronze, brass, gold and pewter. They are non-toxic, and last up to 6 months depending on the amount of exposure to the air.
To use: Place paper in closed drawers, jewlery box, storage bag, silverware chest, instrument or trophy case.
2" x 7" strip potects 400+ cubic inches (i.e. 10" x 10" x 4" drawer) Typically, you should use 2-4 of these in your drawers, based on the size.
Each package contains 10 strips of 2"x7" 3M Anti-Tarnish paper.
Q. What are Anti-Tarnish Strips?
A. They're special absorbent paper that protects metal jewelry and other items from unsightly discoloration and tarnish, especially during shipping and storage. The Strips protect silver, nickel, copper, bronze, brass, tin and gold.
Q. How do they work?
A. They absorb sulfides and other pollutants in the air and prevent tarnish from occurring. They do not remove existing tarnish.
Q. How do I use them?
A. Simply put Anti-Tarnish strips in a well-sealed enclosure with tarnish-free metal items. The more air-tight the enclosure, the longer the strips will remain effective. The enclosure can be a china cabinet, silverware chest, drawer, jewelry box, plastic or cloth storage bag, safe-deposit box, toolbox or other container.
Q. Must the Anti-Tarnish Strip touch the metal?
A. No, it only needs to be near it. However, the strip will not harm metal it touches.
Q. How long will these strips protect?
A. Each pack contains 10 strips, each strip will protect for approximately 6 months to 1 year in a jewelry box or other enclosed area, depending on how often the container is opened or how air-tight the container is.

A. Yes, completely safe and non-toxic. They do not emit anything, and they leave no residue.
